先日新任式が行われ，英語と日本語でご本人から挨拶がありました。

Hello Oshima Kitako!
My name’s Jaden and I am the new Assistant Language Teacher (ALT)!
I am so excited to be here in Amami working with all of you. I have already
fallen in love with this beautiful island and I am grateful for how
everyone has welcomed me with open arms.
I was born and raised in California, which is almost 10,000 KM away! And
yet, I feel like Amami is my second home.
I look forward to beginning lessons and getting to know each of you.
